My name is Carolina, I am a Licensed English teacher from Los Andes University in Venezuela one of the best universities in my country. Most of my experience have been in the education field, but last year I started working with translation on line, which have given me the opportunity to improve my grammar and writing skills, I have translated books, worked on selling advertisements of Amazon, Alibaba, I also have translated manuals, legal documents, medical records, I have also worked in recordings' trasncriptions and translations, among others. About me Growing up bilingual When I was 10-years-old, my family moved from Spain to Colorado, USA. I attended middle school there and all of my friends were American. After just 9 months no one could believe I was not born American. Learning a language this way is the most effective and efficient way to learn it. As a child, you just simply take everything in and while learning a new language, you are also learning a new culture and way of thinking. At age 13 I moved back to Spain. I was then able to cement my Spanish cultural roots. Then, when I was 15-years-old, we moved again, this time to Portugal. Here I was able to learn Portuguese at still an early age. After obtaining two University Degrees, in Law and Business Administration, and an MBA in International Business Management, I worked for several years as a lawyer, external auditor in PwC, financial controller and cost manager in several countries around the world. Throughout this time, I also worked as a freelance translator and reviser for a Law Firm for over 8 years. It then became clear to me that I was meant to be a translator and now I work as a full-time translator and reviser.
