I am a professional with more than 30 years of experience in English to Spanish and Spanish to English translations. I am capable of delivering excellent quality at an affordable rate. I was born and raised in Guatemala, where I attended an American school learning English as a Native rather than as a second language. I have spent the last 20+ years living in Mexico working as an interpreter and translator for American companies such as Jockey Intl. and Skyline Builders and then I worked with the Real Estate and Tourism Industry at the Riviera Maya for more than 5 years, where I wrote and translated web content, newsletters, rental and sales agreements, contracts and “fideicomisos”. Languages and Literature have been my passion since an early age. From 2008 to present, I've worked as a freelance translator, editor and proofreader, working mainly with creative content. I'm a certified English-Spanish Translator, Editor and Proofreader. I'm also a certified English Teacher, and I'm currently in my fourth year of Licentiate degree in Letters at the Humanities and Arts College (National University of Rosario, UNR) in Argentina.

I have a bachelor’s degree in English from the University of Costa Rica and I am a certified translator for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. I have extensive experience in translating documents from assorted themes, ranging from legal, and medical matters, to environmental, marketing and business material. I will deliver a professional translation since I am familiar with the different varieties of Spanish, colloquialisms and local uses for Spain and many Latin American countries. I also studied Italian and French, and can understand and communicate in both languages fairly well. As for computer skills I work on daily basis with programs such as Word, Excell and Powerpoint.
